As a massive fan of HHN in Hollywood, I was excited to experience Horror Unleashed. I was not disappointed, the immersion was great, set designs were impeccable, scare actors were amazing and fun. Though there may only be 4 houses/mazes, they spared no expense - they felt longer than the ones in Hollywood, and the jump scares were second to none. But what stood out above all, they split the groups up, allowing each group to experience the house more intimately. Since I went alone, it was terrifyingly cool! The Blumhouse restaurant was awesome, seeing the Grabber an M3GAN walking around was a cool touch! Overall, awesome job Universal! You definitely fed my need for scares, and I’ll be back as soon as I can.

This is a must for horror aficionados, but needs some refinement for the average Halloween Horror Nights attendee. There are traditional haunted house mazes, a few “scare zone” shows (which seemed like after thoughts), and then large featured bar or dining areas. They did a decent job of creating an overall spooky atmosphere; some additional decor and detail in these common areas could go a long way to improve the attraction. I liked all the mazes, except for Scarecrow The Reaping - a repetitive experience with little set design. The queue line was more interesting - with fog and wind effects - than the maze itself. The builds of the other mazes were on point and beautifully rendered. Each had an immersive “scene” based on theme. This was a great idea! This worked well when the guests were well modulated, but created problems when not. They may want to considere a second modulation point right before the scene to make this smoother. My favorite was the Exorcist maze. Those “possessed” scare actors were on point and the overall experience was well designed. I recommend going at times with fewer attendees, as the scare actors can be more engaging without inadvertently being interrupted. As a horror fan, I had a really good time. With some improvements, I think this could be a GREAT time.

As someone who gets freaked out by horror (even a tv an ad for horror) I was pretty anxious about entering this attraction (but was gifting this one for my husband). BTW - He loved it! Thought it was awesome. Me? I survived! I found it rather intense at times (the Scrawcrow installment!!) and the crowds a bit much (eg the first attraction to open was very busy despite the timed entry, it felt rushed. This was one time when being first/early backfired). The bar staff and area was when ridiculously busy and trust me I needed a drink. Alas… no wine!!! The best thing for me was hanging out at Area 15 in general and all the fun the art installations surrounding the attraction and exploring these. But like I said I’m not a horror fan. My husband loved it and that was the point!

Super fun time! 🎃 Here are a few reasons I’d recommend checking this haunted house out: 1. I didn’t see any kids under 16, so it’s perfect if you’re looking for a fun Halloween date night without little ones running around. 2. The food and drinks at Premier House Restaurant were surprisingly good — definitely worth stopping by for a quick bite before or after. 3. There were three bars, so always a chance to grab a drink in between houses. 🍹 4. The staff was really friendly and helped make the night even better. 5. I don’t get scared easily, but I still had a few good jump scares — which says a lot! 👻 Things that could be improved: 1. If you’re more than 15 minutes late to your ticket time, they make you get a new timed ticket at the box office, which seemed to happen a lot. The box office line was pretty long and ate up a good chunk of time — so definitely plan to arrive early or right on time. 2. The space was smaller than expected, and I agree with other reviews that the general admission price feels high for the size and quality. If you’ve got money to spend, it’s a fun night out and worth it for the halloween experience. But if you’re on a budget, this could feel like a bit of a splurge since drinks are pricey inside too. If you’re paying for two people, just know your empty wallet might end up being the scariest part of the night! 💸😅 Overall: A great option for adults looking for a spooky, social night out — just go in knowing it’s more about the fun atmosphere, drinks, and vibe than a super intense haunt.

Had an absolutely awesome time here and would come back. Got here around 4:30pm on a Sunday and security line was quick + employees were super friendly. The aesthetic and vibe of this place are insane, even outside of the houses. The horror actors do a great job and are dedicated to staying in character. We decided to grab a drink before hitting the first house at the front bar, which was awesome. After that, we went to the bar in the back by Jack’s area and had absolutely incredible drinks - the experience was even better thanks to our bartender Ashley. She was super personable, friendly, and gave excellent recommendations. We came back twice and then she recommended the Severed Pear at the main bar - which packs a massive punch and also is incredible. Major shoutout to her, she made the experience even better. As far as the houses go, the sets are unmatched and immersive. I’m a big horror / haunted house fan so I didn’t find them to be too scary, but they’re very well done and the scare actors absolutely kill it. In terms of most favorite to least favorite, I’d say Monsters, Scarecrow, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and then Exorcist. They’re all great honestly. Lines weren’t bad at all, I think we maybe waited 15 minutes max for one of the houses. Overall, I’d absolutely come back when back in Vegas. The houses were great, the bartenders were friendly and personable (shoutout Ashley), the drinks were fantastic, and the experience was awesome. If you have a few hours to spend and wanna just have some fun, I’d say it’s worth it.
